AAYAM NGO (Mohali)
Based in Mohali for the less privileged, Aayam NGO is an ally to us. Spreading Smiles society has organized several cultural events, distribution drives, games & sports for the youngsters out there.
On their Annual function 2018, our beloved Founder, Ms. Itika Sharma had been recognized as the “Most Valuable Person” for her incredible contribution to the lives of children at Aayam NGO.
SAMARTH PGI (Chandigarh)
The place is a perfect symbol of “Heaven on Earth”. Mentally disabled but emotionally capable to recognize every act of kindness, children here are none less than a treasure. All they want is to be treated well within the society.
Celebrating with them the “Valentine’s Day” this year, we witnessed an unconditional love that they poured upon us. From dance to musical chairs and various other games, it was a memory we cherish till today. Donations are invited for them so that they too can live an honorable life.
SLUM AREA (Sector 25, Chandigarh)
People in slums are basic service providers at the bottom of any society, without whom the city might come to a standstill. To fulfil their day-to-day necessities, they can be any of the cart-pullers, hawkers, mechanics, domestic workers and even ragpickers in some cases.
Because of poor financial condition, they don’t have sufficient clothes so as to protect themselves against all hardships of nature. We at SPREADING SMILES conduct regular “Clothes Donation Drive” to overcome this issue. People are invited to handover used/new clothes which will definitely give warmth to a human-body. After all its better to donate than accumulate.
SENIOR CITIZENS HOME (Sector 43, Chd)
An undertaking of Chandigarh Administration, it's a place of infinite wisdom. The seniors residing here are full of energy & life experiences, all they need is someone to share those. Spreading Smiles visits them regularly, to attain teachings as well as to seek their blessings.
We’ve celebrated Lohri & various other festivals with them. We look forward for your contributions to enlighten the lives of these wrinkled but happy faces.
SNEHALAYA (CWC Sector 38, Chandigarh)
Every child is a blooming flower and altogether they make this world a beautiful garden.
Run by Chandigarh Administration for orphans, this place is a part of our journey from the very beginning. It’s been 2 years we are serving the beautiful little souls out here with regular “Notebooks Donation Drive”.
On 09th June 2019, we've organized an "Interactive Motivational Workshop" by renowned author Mr. Shivam, to brighten up the minds of these juveniles.
Our society had also distributed various sports equipments & shoes to cater the demand of young athletes out here.
Recently on 25th August 2019, Spreading Smiles People’s Foundation Society organized an initiative “Happiness in Togetherness” with an aim to celebrate the Birthdays of foster kids every month. It was a big achievement with cheerful faces all around.
Unprivileged to any sort of ceremony, this will not only add to the joy of these little ones but also create a bond of togetherness among them. To continue it, we look forward to your contributions for the same, which will definitely enhance its charisma during the upcoming months.
KARTAR AASRA (Sector 1, Chandigarh)
An orphanage & an old age home for senior citizens who are unable to stay with their families or are destitute. Kartar Aasra is yet another location we’re blessed to be a part of. Our aim is to help them live this tender phase of their lives to the fullest.
Spreading Smiles organized “Master Chefs of Today” , a cooking cum lunch ceremony to promise them a day full of vibrance and celebration. We’ve also distributed medicines to cure their anguish. We are committed to do our best in bringing out a sense of affinity amongst the elders and orphans out there, which will definitely bridge the gap of love and understanding that they had been longing for years.
