23rd Sept 2017 is irreplaceably etched in the memories of a group of 3-4 youngsters who took the road less taken when they planned to celebrate their birthday with young innocent souls. They had no idea back then that these kids and many others like them would soon become their extended family. These pure young souls, as remembered fondly by the founder of the organization, gleamed with love and immense happiness throughout the celebrations. Cake cutting, lunch, games, and singing that followed filled the atmosphere with infectious laughs, emanating an aura both lively and vibrant. Those innocent faces which had the capacity to make every heart gleam, expected nothing but love and happiness from everyone around. This joy of giving selfless love and care motivated these youngsters to work for this noble cause, thus giving birth to an ever-growing organization, "Spreading Smiles", now a family of more than 100 youngsters, working together relentlessly to fulfill their motto "Let's gift someone smile today". Deriving their strength from an age-old adage "Where there's a will, there's a way", this family, despite innumerable hardships, has been working selflessly since then to make this world a better place to live in.
